Marlon Unas Esguerra - Def Poetry Jam

In 2004, Marlon Unas Esquerra was on Season 4 of the Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam. He is a Poet, Writer, DJ, and Teacher. Marlon Unas Esguerra is a second generation Filipino American Muslim, born and raised in Chicago. Marlon currently resides in Harlem, and is a High School Special Education teacher in the South Bronx. Marlon is a three-time Chicago poetry slam champion.
