Brown Nation Culture and friends are just one of the thousands of filipinos celebrating in this years Filipino Fiesta Parade. The Filipino-American Club from Farington High School and University of Hawaiiʻs GEAR UP
GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs. It is a federal program whose goal is to increase the number of low-income students to attend college. Project activities aim to increase higher education by providing and increasing access to financial aid.
GEAR UP provides college visits, tutoring, advising, counseling, test preparation workshops, a student club, and other academic enrichment activities for students, teachers, and parents.

It was a great pleasure to meet Bernard Ellorin and the rest of the members of the University of Manoa Kulintang Ensemble at the 15th Annual Leeward Community College International Education Festival on march 15, 2008. Here is a few photos of the performance. Enjoy!!!
Surprisingly, the phones lines were off the hook. We had no idea that there were any listeners since it is an AM radio station. There were lots of giveaways for the listeners. Lot’s of FUN!!! Shout out to Jaime Hartley for taking such awesome photos.
