Viloria defends crown in Hawaii Aug. 29

Newly-crowned IBF light flyweight champion Brian Viloria will defend his title on August 29 at Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii against Jesus Iribe of Mexico.

The Hawaiian Punch returns to fight in Honolulu after an absence of over 6 years.  He will go against Jesus “Azul” Iribe of Mexico, who hasn’t lost a fight since 2007.  Iribe is the current Federation of Boxing Commissions (Fecombox) light flyweight champion and ranked in the top 20 by the IBF.
Viloria has a record of 25 wins, 2 losses and 15 knockouts while, Iribe has a record of 15 wins, 5 losses and 5 knockout.



PHILIPPINE ALL-STARS: 4th place

The Philippine All-Stars placed 4th this year at the 8th USA Hip Hop Championship and World Hip Hop Championship held at Las Vegas July 27 thru August 2. Many had felt that their routine was not as clean as last year, but their choreography was just mind blowing. Ron Josol - Filipino Canadian Comedian

Ron Josol is a professional Canadian stand-up comedian of Filipino descent who performs around the globe. He is the first Filipino Canadian Comedian in canada and is also an actor.

Ron has taped numerous stand-up comedy specials in his career. He first achieved his own comedy special in 2000, “Comedy Now,” on CTV/Comedy network. He has been featured in ABS-CBN’s Slanted comedy taped at the San Jose Improv and recently recorded two comedy specials produced by Showtime Dubai for a record crowd of 2,500. The first, called, “Friday Night Live in the Middle East,” and the second called “the New World Order,” were aired and sold to 14 countries.
