The 5′Giants are an unincorporated team of Filipino-American filmmakers who write and perform films that are as diverse and colorful as their own cultural identities. They make there movies with passion, not money (which means all of their talent is unpaid). This concept is foreign to most people, so think of them like a community baseball team that plays the game week after week because they love the game – not because they want to make money. They are just like that. The team moniker was based after the fact that the average height of a Filipino person is 5’ something. They like the idea of someone who does feats greater than they were built to do, so they adopted it as there team name.
